Hospitals and Recipients are brought into the System seamlessly

Registration and Licensing

Hospitals register themselves for organ donation with a fee. Separate licences also have to be taken for each organ that they do transplantation for.

Recipient Management

Generates a unique identification number upon registration, and the patient is automatically transferred to the Waiting List.

Aadhaar Authentication

All details are updated with Aadhaar verification, either through OTP or fingerprint, after which the medical details are to be recorded.

User Management

Users roles are created by a particular hospital based on the requirement. The hospital contact can add any number of other users in the application.

Organ Allocation

Organs are allocated to the patients (recipients) based on the order of priority on this waiting lists.

Waiting List

When an organ is generated, the top 50 patients (recipients) in-waiting are gathered on a list, with the order of priority based on the UID.

Workflows

There are three different kinds of workflows based on the differences of lists - Local Organ, Sharepool, and ALF (Acute Liver Failure) for poisoning emergencies.

Automation

Automated calls are made to all the hospitals based on the priority on the list (calls to every coordinator in each hospital, for all the 50 recipients on the priority list).

Final Selection

Culmination of all processes leading to transplantation and rescuing precious lives

Acceptance and Rejection

Concerned patient/hospital can either accept or decline organ donations at any step of the entire process. If rejection is done, a reason also has to be provided.

Logistics

After acceptance of organ, officer-in-charge does confirmation and updation of all the logistics of the organ transfer such as organ collection, person collecting, and timing.

Organ Assessment and Retrieval

Cross matching is done to check the compatibility of the organ and then organ is retrieved.

Final Allocation

The person on the list who finally accepts the organ after the priority is considered, will receive the organ and undergo transplant surgery.
