Mocero - A Glimpse of 2022

As the sun rises and shines on another new year, we all look ahead to new beginnings with hope. But, it is always prudent to take stock of yesterday, so as to plan for a better tomorrow.

Mocero Health has had a good period of growth this past year 2022, crossing many checkpoints on its journey as a HealthTech Startup - whether it be on developing our products, expanding our team, collaborating with other players in the industry, or achieving a measure of stability. There were many ups, a few downs, and altogether a whole lot of entrepreneurial energy which ultimately led us down the path of learning and innovation.

We offer you a short glimpse into 2022 at Mocero, highlighting the key events in no particular order:

Mocero Health Solutions worked with the Transplant Authority of Tamil Nadu (TRANSTAN)1 2 to develop India's first mobile app (Vidiyal) that helps in the automation of the entire organ donation and allocation process, also achieving transparency and data privacy in the process.

Mocero added a new chapter to its story when we moved to a new office space at IIT-M Research Park. It was inevitable to make this move since the company was growing in size with the expansion of existing teams and also creation of new teams. And what an eventful journey has it been till the end of the year!

There were a few celebratory events also that we partook off together at Mocero, including the Onam celebration, the relaunch of the updated Mocero website as well as the Mobile application, and the inauguration of the Awards and Recognitions program. There was also held a Company Luncheon - a get-together of sorts where all the teams could look back upon what they had achieved and also reorient the future plans. And of course, let us not forget the group lunch.

Mocero Health has raise 1.3 Cr 1 2 3 in Seed Funding led by Inflection Point Ventures, with the funds raised to be used for product development and to widen the sales channels. Mocero seeks to accelerate the adoption of IT in healthcare by offering a carefully thought-out solution that is user-friendly, patient-focused, and intuitive, and this round of funds will help us bring that about sooner.

Mocero Health was also part of various panel discussions, roundtables, expos, and symposiums:

  • Panel discussion on the startup ecosystem, organized by the Institute's Innovation Council of Hansraj College, Delhi University (DU), and MIET College.
  • Health industry sector leadership forum roundtable, organized by the Indo-Australian Chamber of Commerce, on building a trusted and collaborative digital health ecosystem.
  • Med-tech symposium organized by CfHE (Center for Healthcare Entrepreneurship), IIT Hyderabad, where healthcare innovative startups pitched their ideas to experts.
  • Set up a stall at the expo in the healthcare industry, the Medicall Expo (31st edition), held at Kolkata largest B2B.

We, at Mocero are also proud to have recently received a number of awards for our commitment to excellence and innovation in the healthcare IT industry, and are honored to be recognized for our hard work and dedication in providing the best products and services to our customers.

Our solution was selected among the Top-3 solutions at the GovTechThon organized by Tirunelveli District Administration. We had presented an easy-to-use and scalable solution to digitize the Primary Healthcare Centers (PHCs) of Tirunelveli District.

Mocero Health adjudged the Winner for a Use Case in HIC 3, conducted online.

Mocero Health was adjudged the winner under the bracket, “Preventive Healthcare Checkup Tracking” in the NASSCOM Healthcare Innovation Challenge (HIC) 3. We had provided the winning solution for the use case from Max Healthcare, “An integrated tracking app with an auto-completing checklist that helps reduce patient wait time, having an end-to-end workflow right from booking up to billing!”

Mocero Health was also selected as the recipient of Frost & Sullivan 2022 Indian Digital Health Tech Platform Technology Innovation Leadership Award. Mocero Health reflected strong overall performance across all of the required parameters. This is a great achievement for our organization and is a testament to the hard work of the team.

Mocero Health Solutions was awarded the FICCI TANCARE Healthcare Startup of the Year, 2022 by the Health Minister of Tamil Nadu, Ma Subramanian, in the 14th edition of TANCARE. The event was organized by FICCI, with the theme being, "Tamil Nadu Health Ecosystem - Support the Vision for Trillion Dollar Economy".

2022 was surely a year full of novelty - a new office, new teams, new developments on our products, etc. So, as we say goodbye to it and look forward to the new year, we here at Mocero are filled with optimism and excitement. 2023 promises to be an exciting year, with new technology and advancements that will help us provide better healthcare solutions to our customers. And we do have exciting things planned out for this coming year.

We anticipate that this new year will bring innovation and creativity to the healthcare IT industry, and we can't wait to see how our solutions will help our customers improve their services and healthcare offerings. Confident that 2023 will be a successful year for us, we look forward to the challenges and opportunities that it will bring with renewed vigor.
